Understanding chakras – and working directly with them – is essential to supporting your health and well-being.
About Chakras
Chakras are energy centers that mediate life force energy between your energy field, the unified field, other people, the environment, and your body. Through this circulation of energy, chakras nourish your physiological systems, having the greatest energetic influence on organs, glands, musculature, circulation, and bones nearest their location. The major chakras are positioned along your body’s central vertical axis, beginning at the perineum and ending at the top of your head.
Chakras are also consciousness centers. In this capacity, each represents a specific spectrum of life activities and expressions. Your chakras open and close, receive, block, and transmit energy in accordance with your internal, often unconscious, responses to your life experiences. And your chakras reveal your capacity to adequately express yourself.
As consciousness centers, chakras reflect and express your creative drives, your wants, needs, self-assertion, your power/empowerment, spiritual connection, your compassion, physical grounding, and your wisdom – and much more.
Chakras also encode the energy of what is not “digested” and resolved in your life experience. This can include unfulfilled needs, karmic patterns, major life changes, trauma, losses, unresolved relationship issues, and/or emotionally charged interactions. These experiences held in the energy of your chakras compromise chakra function.
While the impact to a chakra can be subtle, often it is not. Your self-expression related to the affected chakra(s), will be diminished and/or closed off. Also, a number of physical symptoms can quickly materialize, including severe stomach or headaches, sore throat, nausea, physical pain, infections, and vertebrae misalignment. Chronic chakra challenge can lead to lower immunity and chronic or acute disease.
Maintaining Chakra Health
A clear strong chakra means that within a particular sphere of life activity and self-expression, you are healthy, active, and evolving. The area of the body that is influenced by the chakra will be vital and strong. A congested, depleted, murky, or closed chakra indicates that you carry unresolved challenge, trauma, or conflict. And, as mentioned above, this will lead to minor or major health challenges and diminished self-expression.
Because of the direct connection between your chakras and your well-being and health, regular chakra clearing is essential. You can aid and heal your chakras through effective self-care practices and/or through work with a trained practitioner.
I offer clients in-depth chakra healing through Chakra Clearing with Applied Integration, which focuses on clearing unresolved experiences and issues, as well as establishing new life strategies that support healthy chakra expression. This work also provides numerous self-care tools.
